Good lobbying practice

Through good lobbying practice, the Advisory Board for the Finnish Transparency Register strives to create more uniform guidelines for ethical lobbying. The aim is to promote a good lobbying culture among the actors falling within the scope of the Act.

Good lobbying practice is not binding, but the actors submitting their registration may declare their commitment to comply with the guidelines. Good lobbying practice is based on the principles of self-regulation and encourages actors to act ethically. 

When preparing the recommendations promoting good lobbying practice, the Advisory Board will be hearing a broad range of different actors. The guidelines will be completed in 2024.
