The National Audit Office's panel discussion on SuomiAreena will focus on lobbying and the principles of good lobbying. Our tent at Kansalaistori will additionally provide information on lobbyists’ responsibilities and using the Finnish Transparency Register.

The questions discussed on SuomiAreena will be who exercises power in Finland, how decision-making can be influenced, which issues lobbyists target in Finland, what inappropriate lobbying is like, and what transparent lobbying means for lobbyists, citizens and those in power.

The participants in the panel discussion organised by the National Audit Office at Eetunaukio stage will be: Professor Emilia Korkea-aho, Minja Koskela from the Left Alliance, Salla Nazarenko from the Union of Journalists in Finland, and experienced lobbyist Tuomo Yli-Huttula. The discussion will be chaired by Jonna Carlson, Oversight Manager at the NAOF.
